Slow Cooker Turkey Meatballs in Marinara The Whole Cook

Use your hands to gently but thoroughly blend ingredients.

Slow cooker turkey meatballs. In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the meatballs and stir with a fork to combine. How to make crockpot meatballs: Good things happen in the slow cooker.

Combine remaining garlic, remaining salt, turkey sausage, ground turkey, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, eggs, and parsley in a large bowl. Add 1/2 of the garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Garnish with sesame seeds and the remaining green onion.

As the meatballs simmer and cook, they release flavor into the sauce and become incredibly tender. Arrange the meatballs in a single layer in the slow cooker. Place onion slices in the bottom of the crockpot, topped with 1 can of crushed tomatoes.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cover the meatballs in pasta sauce (at least 1 cup). Roll the ground turkey mixture into 1 inch or tablespoon sized meatballs.

Take out the meatballs and top with more mozzarella cheese, if desired. Cook on high for 2 hours or until the internal temperature of the meatballs is 165 degrees.
